With the breeze of early summer and the fragrance of dumpling leaves, we ushered in the traditional Chinese festival - Dragon Boat Festival. In this day full of cultural atmosphere and national emotion, the company held a special Dragon Boat Festival activity with the theme of ‘Welcome Dragon Boat Festival, Strive to compete’, aiming to let the staff feel the happiness of the festival and the cohesion of the team in the spare time of the intense work through a series of creative and interesting activities.

The activity was held in the beautiful Parkyan Ecological Park, the company leaders firstly made a speech, emphasised the cultural significance of the Dragon Boat Festival and the importance of teamwork. Afterwards, the referee introduced the activity process and rules in detail to ensure that every employee could fully understand and actively participate in the activities.

Dry Land Dragon Boat

As one of the highlights of the event, the dry land dragon boat race attracted the participation of many employees. Different from the traditional water dragon boat, the dry land dragon boat pays more attention to teamwork and coordination. With the referee's whistle, each team competed to be the first, the team members worked together, you catch up with me, the scene was very intense. The dry land dragon boat not only tested the team spirit of the staff, but also let everyone experience the fun of traditional festivals in laughter.

Tug of War

The tug-of-war competition that followed was equally exciting. Each team lined up on both sides of the rope, holding the rope tightly, heels close to the ground, with the referee's instructions, the two sides of the players to make every effort to start the strength and wisdom of the competition. Tug-of-war is not only a duel of strength, but also a reflection of team cohesion and centripetal force.

Three, the feet together and progress

The ‘foot in hand’ is a test of teamwork and tacit understanding of the activities. The activity requires each team member to tie legs, hands on shoulders, marching forward in unison. This seemingly simple game actually tests the tacit understanding and co-ordination between team members. During the game, we encouraged each other, adjusted the pace, and marched forward steadily step by step, showing good teamwork ability. Through this game, employees deeply appreciate the true meaning of ‘unity is strength’.

Penguin Walk

‘Penguin walk’ is a fun activity, the participants need to clip the prepared balloons on both legs and armpits to imitate the gait of penguins and move forward quickly. This activity not only tested the staff's balance and physical flexibility, but also brought endless laughter. In the slightly clumsy but lovely movements, they drew closer to each other and strengthened the friendship among colleagues.

With the successful conclusion of the activities, the theme of ‘Welcome Dragon Boat Festival, Strive for Streams’ Dragon Boat Festival activities not only allowed everyone to enjoy the fun of the festival, but also deepened the friendship between colleagues in the laughter, and strengthened the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the team. Through this series of colourful activities, every participant felt the charm of traditional festivals, and at the same time felt proud of being a member of this warm family.
