Graphene anti-corrosion coatings are generally coatings with high anti-corrosion capacity obtained by adding graphene dispersion to solvent-based coatings and dispersing them evenly. The unique two-dimensional sheet structure of graphene can greatly improve the performance indicators of the coatings, including anti-corrosion performance, and can also give some special functions that traditional anti-corrosion coatings do not have, including UV resistance, wear resistance, anti-bacterial properties, etc.

Properties of graphene anti-corrosion coatings:

Graphene epoxy coatings have a far-reaching anti-corrosion effect. Graphene epoxy anti-corrosion coating has far more anti-corrosion properties than conventional epoxy anti-corrosion coatings. 4, weathering performance: the usual epoxy anti-corrosion coating as a primer, and does not have anti-UV performance, so the need for weathering top coat to cover the primer coating film, in order to prevent the epoxy resin by UV light and the formation of powder, resulting in film cracking and peeling phenomenon. By adding graphene to the epoxy anti-corrosion coating, the weathering properties can be achieved by using graphene's own UV resistance properties. Therefore, in applications where aesthetics are not required, topcoats may not be used.

5、Environmental protection: The usual epoxy anti-corrosion coatings need to add a large amount of zinc powder, through the cathodic protection of zinc powder to the substrate to achieve anti-corrosion and anti-rust effect, and the consumption process of the coating will make the zinc powder to cause pollution to the application environment. The addition of graphene (especially graphene prepared by physical method) can effectively reduce or even not add zinc powder and exceed the original anti-corrosion performance and reduce the pollution to the environment.
